Meetings & Conferences

Are you planning a Trade Show, a Team Building Weekend or a Strategic Planning Conference? It doesn't really matter which, the decision to bring your team to Kimberley is a smart one. The location is spectacular, the accommodations luxurious and with a brand new Conference Facility available for your meetings and receptions you can seamlessly combine work, play and results.

A good place to be meeting

Located at the base of North Star Mountain sits the Kimberley Alpine Resort, a world class ski and golf destination. The newest addition to the resort is the 24,000 sq foot Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre. This stunning facility offers meeting spaces for small or large groups with quality audio visual technology and full catering on site. The Grand Ballroom will seat up to 500 guests theater style, 350 for banquets and four other smaller breakout rooms offer private meeting spaces for groups of up to 50. All of these rooms have built in audio visual components so staging your presentation is as easy as plugging in your laptop. Adjacent to the Ballroom is our spectacular Pre-Function space ideal for cocktail receptions and Trade Show Exhibitions. If you need a stage, a dance floor or even a band, we can help with that.

The facility has space for 60 exhibitor booths leaving the four breakout rooms free for seminars, hospitality rooms or extra storage. Setup and breakdown is a breeze with a ground level loading dock leading directly into the Ballroom. There is also ample free parking available for your delegates and exhibitors.

Hosting your event in Kimberley means your delegates and guests are here for the weekend. They are not squeezing in your presentation between dropping the kids off at soccer and taking the dog to the vet. They are here for the whole event. That means you don't only have their presence you have their attention.

Kimberley is no one trick pony. Although the main focus may be your conference you should allow time for your team to enjoy our beautiful mountain playground. Not only is Kimberley a golfing and skiing mecca, it is also a nature lovers paradise with literally hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, we also have some of the countries best river rafting, flyfishing and ATV tours. If you are looking for something a little more mellow a spa treatment followed by a mountain top wine tasting may be in order.

Kimberley has mild winters, blue sky summers and friendly locals. Only twenty minutes from the Canadian Rockies International Airport means you can be on a flight to Calgary, Kelowna or Vancouver in less time than most people commute to work.

The Kimberley Alpine Discovery Camp is ready for Campers from July 9-22!

Our unique summer camp experience makes the most of everything Kimberley has to offer.

Located at 1,200 meters above sea level, yurt accommodations are shouting distance from the village area at the Kimberley Alpine Resort in City limits, and within sight of the Kimberley Conference Centre where meals, showers, daily yoga, and rainy day activities will be offered. Our Environmental Education partners will offer expert instruction on topics such as invasive species and animal migration.

Campers are a twenty minute walk from downtown Kimberley where they’ll experience Kimberley’s history at the Underground Mining Railway, hang out at Spirit Rock Climbing Centre, and get creative with Centre 64. Also within City limits campers will explore Canada’s largest urban park, the Kimberley Nature Park, play a round of mini-putt and cool off at the Kimberley Riverside Campground.

Hanging out in traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation, you will learn about the region’s First Nations from neighbors at the ʔAQ’AM community. As well, you will discover what life was like in the region’s first European settlement at Fort Steele Heritage Town.
